It is approximately 11 times the high magnification zoom lens that covers the wide angle range equivalent to 29 to 320 mm in terms of 35 mm format to the telephoto range.
By adopting two UD lenses and two aspherical lenses, high image quality is achieved in the entire zoom range.
Equipped with a new IS unit with a camera shake correction effect of about 4 steps in terms of shutter speed.
It also has a zoom ring lock mechanism that keeps the total lens length in the shortest state.

■ UD lens
Ideal chromatic aberration correction with more lenses.
Under this theme, UD (Ultra Low Dispersion) lenses were developed.
It is highly effective in eliminating secondary spectra, has optical properties with low refraction and low dispersion characteristics, and anomalous dispersion characteristics like fluorite, and it has performance comparable to 1 fluorite in 2 sheets.

■ Inner Focus
A technology to reduce the total weight of moving lenses by using a part of the lens configuration as a focusing lens.
