Otherwise watch is great.Was this review helpful?Yes (13)No (1)ReportGood replacement 8 year old equivalent8/16/2012Average rating:4out of5stars, based onreviews8/16/2012by MyIdeaYou get all you need from a watch ... quick time understanding with analog, day/date, stop watch, count down timer, multiple alarms, waterproof so you can take it in light swimming, etc. Removing links from the band is a major pain ... can take a good 30-45 minutes even with the right tools. But that is a onetime event, so it is acceptable. I got the "white face" version, and it is sort of hard to see the arms. What I really like is the logic and operation of this watch is identical to a "10 year battery" watch that died after 8 years. The band on the old watch just gave out about the same time the electronics were. I don't really expect this watch to last 10 years ... 8 years will be good enough :-) This watch seems less durable than the old watch.
