Are you looking for a way to connect an extension cable or extension light strip directly into a Philips Hue LightStrip Plus controller? This adapter allows you to not be constrained into connecting the starter package light strip directly into the controller. The controller can now be placed in a separate location than the first strip of lights. For example, the controller is placed in an area with a power outlet and a way to hide the controller. The first set of light strips are a few feet away under the cabinet. This adapter would be connected to the controller followed by an extension cable and then the first strip of lights.
