When I contacted the manufacturer, they asked what kind of vacuum I used, did I know how to properly use these, what items were in bags, and send pics. A bit insulting as I've been using similar bags for the past 25-30 years & at my age , I definitely know how to use them. I did all as they asked & as time passed- I was told that the bags weren't determined defective- but the problem was in how I must be using them. They offered to replace the 2 bags by mailing me 2 new ones. One bag could hold 1 comforter, 2 pillows, or several sheets. A tip I read online and tried myself, throw a couple silica gel packs (the ones that usually come in shoe boxes) into the bag with the item you are storing.
