Review: ROSETTE Peeling Gel

I became interested with this product since it won Cosme Awards 2014 ranking, actually beating the legendary CURE Natural Aqua Gel which was Japan's bestselling exfoliator for many years.

I had been using Hada Bihaku/Poretol Capsule Peeling Gel in the past. But they are hard to get nowadays so I haven't been using peeling gels for over a year now (tried some Korean brand but I didn't really like them enough to review them). Poretol Capsule Peeling Gel was great for it's refreshing cooling effect & Hada Bihaku was a great premium product.

Rosette is a Japanese peeling gel that contains fruity acids. It gently exfoliates dry skin cells & promote skin cell regeneration. It is gentle & doesn't contain harsh chemicals that would stress your skin. You can feel your skin became instantly smoother after usage. You can use this gel on face & body especially common dry areas such as elbows/knees. It has a soft floral fruity scent.

How To Use:

After cleansing, take an appropriate amount in hand, massage gently on desired area until there is no gel remaining and dead skin cells came off. Rinse off with water & continue with your skincare routine. Recommended use: 2x-3x per week.

* Don't use if you are having any cut, sunburnt, rash or any abnormal skin condition. If product comes in contact with eyes, rinse immediately.

Water, Glycerin, Steartrimonium Chloride, Ethanol, Carbomer, Allantoin, Lactic Acid, Glucose, Citric Acid, Malic Acid, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract , Methylparaben, Fragrance.

I love this product! I think this would be the next big hit in the overseas market. To be honest, I never really like CURE natural aqua gel since it is 98% water-based and for that matter, it doesnt glide smoothly on skin(try rubbing water on your skin, you'll get the idea). Moreover, since Rosette peeling gel didn't get absorbed or dissolved too fast, it lasts longer on skin and thus better exfoliating effect(I actually shed more dead skin cells!) plus the fruity flowery fragrance is great & this product really left my skin silky smooth. I would say Rosette has the same texture like Hada Bihaku(without the gold flake). This item will definitely stay on my weekly beauty routine.
