It has an analog face and a digital screen in the lower portion. The analog numbers are clear and the hands glow. There is a movable numbered ring around the watch which can be used to time, however it is easier to use the digital chronograph. The digital modes include chronograph, countdown timer, alarm, and time in a different time zone. Only 2 things kept me from awarding the last star. 1. The instructions leave much to be desired. The booklet is small and difficult to read and does not include enough detail. I had to learn things through trial and error. 2. The watch eats batteries for lunch. I feel like I replace the battery on the watch at least once a year, if not twice. It allows me to track multiple time zones as well as timing certain events all at the same time. Great for jogging, hiking or shallow water sports. On the down side, this is my third Expedition in 10+ years and I have noticed that the quality has started to progress downward.
