How to Use: The ear is an ideal spot to measure temperature since the eardrum shares blood supply with the temperature control center of the brain. To get an accurate reading with BD Instant Ear Thermometer follow these steps: Read Instructions for Use that are inside the package. 1. Make sure a new and intact probe cover is attached before each measurement. 2. Press 'ON' button and wait for 'READY' symbol. 3. For infants up to 1-year old, pull the ear straight back. 4. While tugging the ear, gently insert the thermometer probe into the ear canal and press and hold the light blue ACTIVATION button until you hear a short beep confirming the end of temperature taking.
