The ND part corresponds to ND8 of reduced light by 3 steps of aperture.
The hard type where the boundary between the ND part and the other part is clear.
Since the material is made of glass, it is superior in flatness compared with resin.
When attaching to the lens, a filter holder such as "Kenko multi holder" and a corresponding adapter ring are required.
