This is how you use this machine. It is multi-purpose yet easy to use. MAKE HOT SOY MILKS, BABY FOODS OR PORRIDGES by 1) removing machine head from the milk barrel, 2) adding ingredients to the milk barrel, 2) adding water to the barrel. Reference page 9 of the user manual for recipes, 3) replacing machine head to the milk barrel, 4) pressing ''Select'' to select Soy Milk, Tofu, Baby Food, Quick Soya Milk, or Porridge function. All these functions are for hot drinks; 5) pressing ''Start'' button to start the cooking. The machine will heat and grind automatically. After about 25-30 min, the cooking will be done, and the machine will beep. You can now unplug the power cord from wall outlet, remove the machine head and rinse with water, and enjoy the delicious hot and fully cooked drinks. MAKE RAW VEGAN MILKS, MILK SHAKES and JUICE by 1) removing machine head from the milk barrel; 2) adding ingredients into the milk barrel according to recipes in page 9 of the User Manual, 3) replacing machine head to the milk barrel; and 4) pressing ''Select'' to select ''Blending'' function. The machine will grind automatically without heating. After about 5 minutes, the process is done, the machine will beep, and you can now enjoy the delicious drink. Please note that this is a very high end soy milk maker with full stainless steel construction. It uses patented Perfect Grind Technology for high milk yield.
