Save yourself a trip to the deli with this Smokehouse Trout and Salmon Brine Mix. It is formulated to enhance flavor and preserve freshness of meat, fish, poultry and other food items. Simply add water to this mix of spices and natural curing ingredients to make up to two qt of marinating solution. This mix is most commonly used for smoking foods, but may be also used as a seasoning prior to conventional cooking methods. It is suitable for use with a variety of electric and gas smokers.
