Although it says gone in 8hrs that part is NOT TRUE...but over the course of 2-3 nights it goes away. I would definatly recommend trying it because if you put it on every night after you wash and mosturize (in the areas without this cream) it will start to work. I know that everyone thinks 3 DAYS!! but trust me its worth it. just the 8hrs isnt true. I use to have terrrible acne..and still do go through phases and my skin is most DEFINATLY NOT clear it is way beyond better! Ok I would try it! I decided to switch to Salicylic acid spot treatment and I am so glad I switched! This treatment is amazing. You have to start using it at the first signs of a pimple for it to really work well. I noticed some slight inflammation on my chin and immediately put this on. I only use it as a spot treatment, not part of my daily skin care routine. I use it 3 times a day until the pimple is completely gone. This takes the effects of a pimple from 10 to 1 in a matter of a day. Its amazing and I swear by it. The price is great and the tube lasts a long time, depening on how often you use it. I use it 4-5 times a month for breakouts and Ive had it for almost 8 months now. I followed the directions and put the gel on emerging acne, and acne I already had. It seemed to help stop the emerging acne, but it did nothing for the acne I already had. That 8 hour thing it advertises did not happen. I used it many times and got the same disappointing results. I do, however, recommend the Neutrogena Triple Action Toner. I could not use much of it because I use Retin-A and that product will expholiate enough.Now that I'm a lot older I don't have to use Retin-A as much so I found this product a few months back. I just wanted a straight up salicylic acid formula with no frills. This is a terrific product for what it says-spot treatment. It would probably work on moderate acne but the size is so small.Now,if I get a little bump here and there I use this product.It DOES work quickly and with minimal very minimal irritation.
