Close-up lens is a similar close-up attachment filter , and then use it as a separate magnifying glass to observe the scene , it 's positive projections for the image is enlarged , while the back was slightly recessed so as to reduce to some extent field curvature .

Use this mirror allows the lens much closer than the usual focus on the subject , resulting in close-up images , such as shooting flowers , insects , etc., or a remake of text data. Close-up lens effect is to shorten the closest focusing distance.

Close-up Lens Caution:

1 more than 300mm focal length of the lens is not recommended to use a long focal length very shallow depth of field , focusing difficult.

2 . Focal length of 55mm or less lens does not recommend the use of close-up lens , because the lens resolution is low , the effect is not obvious

3 large zoom lens ( eg 18-200mm) is recommended to select a short focal length lens close-up , in order to significantly reduce the focusing distance to increase magnification .

4 excellent main lens imaging ( such as the Canon 70-200mm f/2.8) recommended a longer focal length lens close-up , there is enough focus range.

Inadequacies close-up lens is: aberrations although a certain degree of control, but does not completely eliminate ; slightly when used will affect the clarity of the picture ; focusing the work will be limited.
