However I wished the board was firmer and especially wish there was some kind of lighting at the top. Its super dark if your not under direct lighting. Was this review helpful?Yes (4)No (0)ReportOMG!!!1/28/2017Average rating:5out of5stars, based onreviews1/28/2017by jtwinz03I have a 4 yr old who was learning to write, but having a challenging time. He's in pre-k, his teacher gave me some pointers as to what I could do to help, (it wasn't working :0)!!!) He had a very HARD time writing the letter "S" which he needed to learn because it's in his name (Jason) At that point, I knew that I needed to do something to help him. So I bought this tablet for him for Christmas, it was just something that I grabbed leaving the toy aisle. We used this tablet everyday during his Christmas break from school. When he went back to school after Christmas, he was a pro at the letter "S" and all of his letters as a matter of fact!!! All his teacher and I could do was celebrate!! Now, every time he comes home from school, he gravitates to this pad. He chooses a letter, he lets the computer show him how to write it, and he imitates is. This has been a GOD send. He wrote me a letter just the other day. Now, I have a set of twins that want to learn how to write because they see their older brother doing it. This was definitely worth the money!!!!Was this review helpful?Yes (21)No (4)Reportawesome11/17/2015Average rating:5out of5stars, based onreviews11/17/2015by vegasI got this for my daughters birthday (5). She loves it! Its helped her so much with writing her letters and name and the stencils allow her to trace perfectly and make pictures. Great toy to introduce to prek kids to help prepare them for school and well worth the money! Was this review helpful?Yes (19)No (0)ReportIt's ok6/14/2016Average rating:3out of5stars, based onreviews6/14/2016by Phapho ?Verified purchaserMy nephew wrote on it using the pen it came with and it wouldn't erase. It is a great learning tool but would have appreciated a little better quality of the board. Was this review helpful?Yes (18)No (0)ReportMy son and daughter both fight over this toy.9/19/2017Average rating:5out of5stars, based onreviews9/19/2017by jws92Is there a volume control because for some reason I don't see one and the voice is very lowWas this review helpful?Yes (0)No (0)ReportDisappointing Product6/23/2017Average rating:1out of5stars, based onreviews6/23/2017by Raider3I just bought this toy for my great grandson who already knows all his letters, big and small, and counts wonderfully. I thought this would be fun for him since it has voice instructions for making the letters. To begin with, this is the most frustrating toy that I have ever had to un-package. Ever . Ever. Tons of tough paper and cardboard. I was ready to throw it away before I got it unwrapped. Second, V Tech has tried to get the toy to do too many things. It sings, it talks, all while the kid is trying to make letters. It's really an irritating toy. And, the view box at the top of the toy is TOO DARK so the kid can't see how to make the letters unless you are right under a lamp, and then you have to hold it up like a book. You can't lay it flat like you need to to write. This is no better than a plain drawing board, and they don't have something either talking or singing all the time. My great grandson has one of the plain on
