I found these shakes were waterier than the Ensure products and had an odd taste to them, almost like they had a hint of coconut, although I couldn't quite put my finger on it. Maybe I had just grown fond of the Ensure brand, which I thought were surprisingly good tasting. I found it difficult to choke down he Equate brand.
