Here we have a wonderfully detailed wooden model ship kit by Corel: the "Corsaro II" This kit is based on the famous high-sea regatta yacht, Class I R.O.R.C., designed by Stephens and Sparkman. The Corsaro II became an Italian Navy training ship for officers in January 1961. Corsaro II has taken part in numerous international cruises and regattas in the Atlantic and Pacific, obtaining brilliant results including: 1st place in the Honolulu-Kanal regatta, 1961; 1st place in the Torbay-Rotterdam race, 1962; 1st place in the Lisbon-Bermuda race, 1964. The Corsaro II kit is a double plank on bulkhead construction, with all parts laser-cut. There are many pre-manufactured brass fittings and items such as bow and stern pulpits. Everything you need, right down to the material for the sails, is included in this magnificent kit. Includes detailed construction drawing and building instructions to make a museum quality model.
