Dear customers, Konjac is a natural vegetable fibre.  It is fragile (especially when not properly softened before use) and should be used gently.  It is not a regular sponge and should not be poked or pulled.  Please research on the proper way to care for and use Konjac sponges.  Some helpful links are here:

Konjac Vegetable Cleansing Puff Sponge

Konjac puffs are made from the root of the amorphophallus konjac plant. They are soft, gentle and effective skin cleansing products that also balance the natural pH levels on your skin.  Konjac has been used by the Japanese for over a millennium, originally as a medicine in the sixth century.

How to use:

Apply soap or cleansing foam to the puff, then gently glide over the face in a circular motion.  After use, rinse and gently squeeze out excess water, then lay to dry.  It will harden when dry, wet it again to regain its soft texture before using again.
