Rosella (Hibiscus rosa sabdariffa) is very famous plant in Indonesia. There are many benefit of Rosella, especially for herbal treatment. Previously, the plants flower pod is known as frambozen and materials are often used to make a framboze syrup. Just now, rosella flower sheath, known as the herbal tea drink called rosella.

Roselle fruit contains high vitamin C and antihypertensives, which is commonly used to treat high blood pressure. In Thailand, drinking Roselle is believed to reduce cholesterol.
Roselle can be drunk as hot tea or served with crushed ice. Brown sugar or syrup can be added if you prefer to sweeten the recipe. Dried Roselle has a long shelf life and is easy to store in a sealed bag. Simply boil the whole Roselle fruit or only the red petals (leaves) and add to boiling water. You can make excess and refrigerate up to a few days.
Another popular method is to drop a few dried fruits or leaves in your cup of tea filled with hot water. The color is vibrant and the taste is unique, refreshing and popular with both children and adults alike!
Preparation: 20 minutes
Ingredients:
Dried Roselle a handful
Drinking water 5 cups
Brown sugar 2 tbsp (optional)
How to make:
Bring water to boil, and then add the Roselle fruit.
Continue simmer for 10 - 15 minutes.
Discard the Roselle fruit. Add sugar in a decoction drink if needed. Stir until dissolved.
Serve hot as tea or cold with crush ice.
