All of the brushes are ultra soft, cruelty free and made of partially recycled material. These are all touch up brushes so they are meant to be portable to do midday fixes at work or school. None of them are big and bulky. Now onto the brushes: Finishing brush: This is great for powder or blush. It is super soft and picks up lots of product. Eye shading brush: This is great for applying and blending eye shadow. Lash and brow groomer: This is great for combing your brows to create a smoother look. It also is great for separating your eyelashes after you have put mascara on to avoid clumps. Detail lip brush: This is great for applying your favorite lipstick, balm or gloss. I have a lot of makeup brushes from many companies, including some of the well known expensive brands. Ecotools brushes hold up against any of the big competitors awhile being eco-friendly and usually less expensive. Another huge benefit is that they aren't made from animal hair. I have super sensitive skin and have found that I have reactions to some other brands of brushes due to them using animal hair. I have never had a response like that to this set or any of the many other Ecotools brushes I have. So if you have sensitive skin you will be fine with these. I would recommend this product to others. I am very pleased with their performance. The soft pouch fits nicely inside a makeup case or purse. The bristles are soft, durable and easy to clean. This set makes a nice add-on to a collection, if you are buying single brushes at a time. It’s also nice for traveling, as they are light weight. The handles look like wood, but they are plastic, and the tools do not feel cheap or shoddy. Each handle is labeled for what the tool is best used for. My 14 year old daughter has quite a few of these brushes and she uses them every day.
