The oval-shaped pearls were hand selected for their natural colors, smooth surfaces, sharp luster and hints of orient. We hand select each strand to ensure the most enchanting natural lavender colors available; HinsonGayle lavender pearls are prized for their deep toning and represent the richest naturally deep lavender pearls available. As naturally lavender pearls, their uniquely beautiful color developed naturally in the shell as they were cultivated; they have not been dyed and their natural lavender color is solid and permanent. Unlike saltwater pearls, these freshwater pearls are 100% nacre and do not have a shell bead inside. Their oval shapes formed naturally in the shell. No two pearls are exactly alike, adding depth to this sophisticated design.
