Product Description

Due is a special product of Arduino. By now the compatible Shield with Due is still not so many. This is because there is a little different between class libraries. The Pin Definition of Due is completely consistent with MEGA 2560's, but their I/O power supply parameters have a little difference. There is a Warning notice on the official website of Due:

NOTE2:
Unlike other boards, the Due board runs at 3.3V. The maximum voltage that the I/O pins can tolerate is 3.3V. Providing higher voltages, like 5V to an I/O pin could damage the board.
