Eden Foods Lotus Root Tea Powder Description

History Lotus Nelumbo nucifera is the esteemed Asian water lily. It grows in shallow ponds. Ancients observed the roots; symmetrical pattern resembling lungs and attributed an affinity with their energy. Lotus Root Tea is called ''kohren'' in Japan. Value Lotus root contains nelumbine and asparagine which support respiratory, circulatory, and digestive health. Ginger enhances effectiveness and flavor.

Directions
Boil 1 cup water, 1 teaspoon lotus tea, and a few grains of sea salt. Simmer 2 to 3 minutes. Drink hot.
