Having Fibromyalgia (and more) I can't handle anything too tight that puts pressure on my body. I got this bra today and I wear size L or XL in tops and opted for the XL. XL fits perfect and the bra conforms to your body after a few hours. It is enough support that I can wear it out even. I may buy another in a XXL to wear just at home and the bottom band rolls but I am in bed a lot which could be why but it doesn't bother me. But like I said the XL is very comfy especially after wearing for a few hours. Also reading reviews on various sites said that these bras do stretch with washing and drying. I would advise anyone to buy your shirt size unless you have double or triple D and up cups than go up one or 2 sizes. I'm a 42 D and this bra is true to size. I still found the elastic too tight to put on and take off comfortably. I strongly suggest trying this on in the store before you buy. The sad thing is that I really liked the bra. The color and the feel of the fabric were very good. I like the shaping between the cups and the wide straps. These are so comfortable. No underwires. No clasps. Perfect to wear at home or sleep in. The sizing is large, though. I bought a S and wish an XS had been a possibility. I don't know what the support would be on larger sizes. The super stretchy material might not be ideal.
