MOKA EXPRESS is made of an aluminium alloy suitable for the food use and right for the gas cooker, the eletric plate and the pyroceram.
first time you use it, wash carefully only with water and make some coffee to throw away.
check that the coffeepot is complete with safety valve, funnel, washer and filter plate, and that all of them are in the right place.


MAKING COFFEE
Fill the bottom part(1) with cold water.
the level of water inside the bottom part must not exceed the level notches.
Insert the funnel shaped filter(2) inthe little tank(1).
Fill the filter(2) with ground coffee without pressing it and remove the coffee powder from the rim of the little tank(1).
Screw strongly the top of the coffeepot(6) on the little tank(1) but don't prize on handle.
Put the coffeepot on the source of heat, if it is a flame, avoid that it sticks out of the tank edge.
When the top of the coffeepot(6) is full of coffee take the coffeepot away from the source of heat.

      

PRECAUTIONS
Never use the coffeepot without water.
Never use other extracts, powder of cacao, camomilla, infusion or instant coffee. they could clog the filter plate(3).
After use, don't open the coffeepot before it is cold.
Periodically check the funnel shaped filter (2), the filter plate(3) and the washer, when they are damaged replace them.
The little tank(1) has been designed only for water use.
Periodically clean also the the inner sides of the little column(4).
Choice spare parts up to the model in use.The guarantee is no longer valid should any parts or accessories be replaced with other than original spare-parts.
Do not touch the hot surface of the coffee pot. use the handle and the knob.
