This is a high quality magnifying glass that provides 2.5X magnification, large viewing area, clear magnified view without aberrations, lack of distortion, even at the very edges of the 2-1/2' wide lens
Focus is excellent once you get the glass in the right position over the intended target. A little movement back and forth gets it perfect in a short time
The lens is polished glass and not plastic, the frame is polished stainless steel and the handle is rosewood
