Since then, things had been good for about 6 months, but now the mouse has started eating through batteries. Going through a set about every two weeks. No more dell peripherals for me. Time to look elsewhereWritten by a customer while visiting dell.comWas this review helpful?Yes (0)No (0)ReportEats batteries and can't keep up.7/14/2014Average rating:3out of5stars, based onreviews7/14/2014by DrNanoA very nice little keyboard that takes up very little space on my desk. Its raised keys are nicer than the sunken ones on the Logitech unit it replaced when it came with my new Inspiron One. However, I am a fairly fast typist and have found this is the only keyboard that I use regularly that cannot keep up with me. It is only about two feet away from the computer so I can't believe this is a Bluetooth issue. I regularly find missing letters as well as the occasional repeating character (e.g., "eeeee"). It also goes through 2 AA batteries every two weeks or so. My Logitech unit could recharge through the USB and lasted about six weeks between charges. And that was backlit. Also, this is common on most keyboards so this is not necessarily a problem with this one alone. But they have placed the "Volume Up" key (FN-F11) next to the standby mode key (FN-F12). With keys that are about 3/4 the width of my fingers it is extremely easy to turn the machine off.Written by a customer while visiting dell.comWas this review helpful?Yes (0)No (0)ReportRead all reviews
