I prefer a boxer brief over a brief. I feel that the combination of both provides me with a better fit with pants and shorts. If I do have a complaint about a lot of boxer briefs is that they creep up my legs as I am wearing them and end up being briefs! Those worries are over with these great fitting, no creeping boxer briefs. I am starting to see why Gildan is a leader in the making of under garments. These are 100% cotton and have a stay-put waist band. Didn't roll down. I also do not like prints and plaids so I picked out the classic colors...black and grey. You could get these to pass in a pinch to wear as compression underwear for the gym. Virtually no shrinking from laundering. If you are looking for a great pair of Boxer Briefs, look no further. The Gildan brand is a high quality, well constructed garment. I don’t know if it is standard, but my four pack came with two solid colored pair (light grey and teal), and two striped pair (combinations of light grey, teal and black) ? see picture. I have been a longtime fan of this type of underwear ? they are similar to briefs, but longer than the traditional “tighty-whiteys” (and of course, more colorful) ? see other picture (I decided not to model these for the picture ? be very thankful). Compared to other brands I’ve tried, I like these about the same. They are certainly very soft, but the bottom of the legs seem to ride up and not stay in place as much as I would like. I had read that the leg openings were edged with spandex to help them stay in place, but the package only mentions a combination of cotton and polyester (anywhere from 90-100% cotton with the balance polyester and it varies by color strangely enough). I definitely like the plush waistband and the absence of any sort of tag. I typically wear 32 waist pants, and medium size seems to be a perfect fit for my waist. They are really good underwear overall. Maybe because I am between sizes and that the Medium size underwear are a little tight but the large were to lose I could give them a try?Anyway, I appreciate the fact that this type of boxer briefs don't ride up into your crotch. The Material seems to be good quality and they go back to their original shape with washing , I have launder all of them twice and they seem to be in good shape after each washing, the colors of the briefs are very masculine, and with the white band waistband they look somewhat attractive. I noticed that the stitching is all double overcast which is good since there's a lot of Stretch that needs to go on especially for me.
