Coach''s Best Pitching Targets are made from long-wearing corrugated plastic with a solid metal grommet and clip that attaches to any chain-link fence (and many other fences). Each target is the size of a baseball strike zone and is divided into a central diamond and 4 corners. Pitchers should begin by aiming to hit the target and then move their pitches to the corners as they gain accuracy. Each hit will create a satisfying ''whoomp'' noise and faster pitches will make marks on the target. As the target is used, it will become a weathered testament to the pitchers hard work and developing skill. It is best to use a number of balls to allow the pitcher to stay in position between pitches and work on fine tuning the throw. After all pitches are thrown, it''s time to fetch up all the thrown balls for another round. Players can take turns and develop contests for pitching accuracy (highest score, most in a particular area or overall number of hits). Coaches can stand with the players (as opposed to crouching and catching pitches) to help address form or performance issues.
