When it comes on again, this signals the beginning edge of doneness. Most people prefer to cook the waffle a little longer to get a golden brown & crisp exterior.

Question: How do I clean my waffle maker?
Answer: Unplug & let cool, then carefully wipe the grid surfaces & grooves clean using a moist paper towel, sponge, or cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaning materials or harsh chemicals that may damage or scratch the non-stick coating. Do not submerge or expose the waffle maker to running water.
