Suggested Use

Cooking Directions:

Servings: 1 2 6
Water (cups) 1 1-3/4 5
Oats (cups) 1/2 1 3
Salt (optional) dash 1/8 tsp. 1/4 tsp.

Make on Stovetop:

  1. Bring water and salt to a boil.
  2. Stir in oats slowly.
  3. Simmer 3-5 minutes over medium heat; stir occasionally.

Note:For creamier oatmeal combine water salt and oats; bring to a boil; cook as directed.

Make in Microwave (one serving):

  1. Combine water salt and oats in a medium sized microwaveable bowl.
  2. Microwave on high 2-4 minutes; stir before serving.

Caution: Bowl may be hot. Due to differences in microwave ovens cook times may vary.
