Product Description

2.83'' inch double reinforced, rubberized duct tape, also known as 100 MPH tape. Typically used in Military, Industrial, or super duty applications. Cuts easily with scissors or razor knife and tears straight.
Please NOTE: Surfaces must be clean, dust free, and dry. While the tape is indeed high humidity & water resistant (not submersible) the adhesive will not stick well to moist or dirty surface. Use 2-3 wraps and overlap layers for a smooth wrinkle free long lasting repair. DOES NOT stick long term on cloth or canvas, apply some other adhesive first!
Always make sure you really press it firmly into place all around and have it warm enough - to set the pressure sensitive adhesive. The dryer and warmer the installation, the longer the adhesive will hold its position (avoid sliding). A vinyl tarp repair might last 1 season, wrapping a 6'' pvc pipe could last 2 or 3 seasons if it does not move. For best results wipe all surfaces with alcohol or acetone and allow to fully evaporate before application.
''Black Core'' tape is Manufactured in the USA by the worlds largest tape mills who must liquidate Over Runs & Mill Ends. High speed milling machines create ''over run'' rolls (too large) or ''mill ends'' (too small) for retail sizes. Exclusive distributors now offer limited amounts of over-size and under-size rolls at a tremendous discount to the public.
Black Core explained: On some rolls, Manufacturer has blacked out the original printing inside the core to sell in bulk. Rubber based non-toxic ink is totally safe and does not come off easily. However, wear work gloves or disposables if you plan on handling these rolls for an extended period.
