<br />    1) Plug in the power, when the right side of the indicator is red, then press the start button will switch to the left indicator light turns blue, this time indicates that the product has been started.

<br />Taking the first steps with your Home light epilator
<br />1. Installing your Home light appliance
<br />1. Remove the home light epilator appliance and all parts from the box
<br />2. Make sure the flash lamp is inserted firmly in the end of the epilator.
<br />3. Plug the adapter lead into its slot in the appliance handle
<br />4. Connect the other end of the adapter into the mains. The `Standby` indicator light will come on. Your Home light epilator is now ready for use.
<br />Wear the safety glasses included during treatment with the Home light epilator.
<br />
<br />2. The first session with your Home light epilator.
<br />At first trial session on an arm or leg should be carried out at minimum intensity to check that your skin reacts correctly to treatment over the following days. You may then gradually increase the power over the course of the following sessions. Use the lowest power level for the first 50 pulses and then increase the power gradually, from 0 to 50: level1, from 50 to100. Level2 from 100 to 150. Level 3 from 150 to 200. Level 4…
<br />The power intensity level may be adjusted by pressing the + and – buttons.
<br />Your skin must be shaved, clean, dry and free of powder of deodorant residue.
<br />Do not epilate (either with and electric epilator or with wax) before using the Home  light epilator. Epilator (remove hair at the roots) will render the pulsed light treatment ineffective.
<br />5. Press the On/ Standy switch. The power level indicator light will come on and your will hear the sound of a fan (similar to sound of a hair dryer)
<br />6.About 4 seconds after pressing the switch, the `Ready` indicator light will come on. The default level for the appliance is set at the lowest setting. It is therefore ready to release its first pulse.
<br />7. If you would like to increase or reduce the power, press on the power intensity indicator light that is lit corresponds the power level administered (see details on the `Power intensity level`)
<br />8. Press the application surface firmly against your skin so that it is in full contact. When the application surface is in full contact with the skin, the `Ready` indicator light will begin to flash
<br />9.Press the release mechanism. The device will first check your skin colour.
<br />If the skin is light enough for safe application, the appliance will release a pulse onto the skin and the indicator light will turn off.
<br />Your will see a flash and at the same time you will hear a light `beep` every time it pulses, which is normal. Your might feel a slight sensation of heat and prickling.
<br />If you do not see a light pulse and the skin colour sensor indicator light begin to flash, this means that your skin is too dark for safe use. Change the patch of skin being treated or check with the Help Service for the Home light epilator (see for more details:`Skin colour sensor’)

<br />Your Home light unit will begin recharging immediately after each pulse. After 4 seconds, the `Ready` indicator light will come on again.
<br />10.Remove the application surface from the area of treated skin.
<br />11.Move the application surface to another area to be treated. Pressure from the application surface made on your skin will help you to align the appliance correctly to administer another pulse, preventing superimposing the pulse or spacing too much(See `Covering the treatment area`)

<br />Warning: Never treat the same patch of skin more than once per depilation session ! Repeated treatment of the same area increases the risk of side effects.

<br />12. Repeat the application from step 5.

<br />3.Epilation of the face with the Home light epilator
<br />As facial skin is particularly delicate and sensitive its epilation requires very special attention.
<br />That is why Babyliss has fitted the Home light epilator with a precision head designed especially for the face and sensitive area.  Targeted and ultraprecise, its 2cm2 window of application is designed to facilitate treatment of the face. It produces a light intensity adapted to the sensitivity of facial skin and the skin of sensitive area. It is also equipped with a contact detector to protect the eyes such that no impulses are emitted if the device is pointing into the void.

<br />It is imperative not to look directly at the area treated during the flash and to wear protective eye glasses when using the Home light epilator to treat the face.
<br />The special precision head is suited for treatment of the cheeks, upper lip and chin. Do not use for epilation of eye lashes , head hair and eyebrows.
<br />This product is not appropriate for full removal of male beard.
<br />
<br />For epilation of the  face with Home light epilator a compatibility test must first be done. Your skin colour must first be tested for its compatibility with pulsed light – by flashing your arm, for example (or any part of your body, the most tanned of darkest possible: leg, back) with the special body head fitted with the skin colour detector. If an impulse is emitted, you may place the special face head on the tip end of the Home light device and proceed to treatment of face. Repeat this operation before each new treatment with the Homelight epilator.

<br />A word of advice: if you have planned a complete face and body session with Home light epilator, begin treatment with the body and end the session with the face treatment. That way you will already have had a chance to test the compatibility of your skin with pulsed light treatment using the special body head fitted with the skin colour detector.
<br />
<br />For complete safely, use of Home light on the face requires the aid of another person.  Your facial skin should be shaved, clean, dry with no remnants of a cream or lotion.
<br />Please do not try to remove hair.(Whether with , for example, an electric epilator of with wax) before the Home light epilator. Epilation (removing hair by its roots) renders pulsed light treatment ineffective.
<br />
<br />1.Apply the special precision head designed for the face and sensitive areas.
<br />-Press the On/Standby switch of your Home light epilator to put it on standby.
<br />-Disconnect the adapter from the mains socket.
<br />-Grip the special body flash on both sides and pull it to remove it from its case.
<br />-Insert the special flash lamp for face and sensitive area, urging it gently into place.
<br />
<br />2.Press the On/Standby switch. The Luminous power indicator will light up and you will hear the sound of a fan(like the noise of a hairdryer)
<br />3.About 4 seconds after having pressed the switch the light indiactor will show `Ready`. The device automatically defaults to minimum power setting and is now ready to emit the first pulse.
<br />4.For the face it is strongly  advised to set the device to the weakest light intensity: level 1
<br />5.Please wear protective eye glasses.
<br />6.Ask someone to help you to operate the device by firmly pressing the application surface against your skin to achieve total contact. As soon as the surface is in full contact with the skin, the message `Ready` on the light indicator will begin to blink.
<br />7.Press the trigger. The device will now emit to pulse to the skin and the message `Ready` will fade out.
<br />You will see a flash of light and at the same time you will hear a faint <beep> with each pulse. This is normal. You may also feel a slight sensation of heat and a tingling. Your Home light epilator immediately recharges itself between each pulse emission. After 4 seconds, the message `Ready` lights up again on the indicator.
<br />8.More the application surface away from the area of the skin just treated.
<br />9.More the application surface to another area to be treated.
<br />
<br />Avoid releasing more than one pulse on the same patch of skin !Do not treat the same area more then once ini one session!
