The COMANCHE is our new Tipi model - it is still a classic wigwam, but has several clever improvements and extras. Its unusual height and striking design give the Tipi that certain something, making it a very special camping experience to stay in this wigwam, and the slightly translucent tent material lets it glow in the dark like a beautiful oversized lantern. The COMANCHE is child's play to pitch. The central pole takes the main weight and the new door design with two diagonal poles connecting at the top gives the construction more stability, even in adverse weather conditions. A small porch roof over the door provides further protection from wind and rain. This Tipi is a little different in that it has a short vertical wall running round the bottom edge. This provides much more comfort and enables you to use the complete floor area much more economically. Semi-circular windows which can be screened if required are set in this wall, as being useful storage pockets for your smaller bits and pieces that need to be kept handy. The sewn-in groundsheet protects you from draughts and damp and together with the mosquito mesh on the entrance door also offers protection from uninvited creepy crawlies and flying insects. The peak of the COMANCHE is fitted with covered vents which help keep the indoor climate comfy and reduce the risk of overheating in the Tipi. Available in a sand/red colour. The COMANCHE is a successful modernisation of a traditional Indian wigwam and is a generously sized alternative to more common tent models if you are looking for a more individual camping feeling. The Tipi comes complete with a handy bag, full instructions and all the necessary accessories (guy ropes, tent pegs etc.). A repair kit is also included.
