We use a coreless wick made from cotton and paper filaments. Many wicks have a thin zinc wire running through the center to help keep them stiff. Vapors from burning metal may not be good for you， so we use coreless wicks. If a large melt pool develops， the wick may occasionally lean over. If this happens， simply blow out the candle， re-center the wick， and allow to cool.
