Use & Care
Put the food inside the inner pot, heat to boil for ten minutes.
Put inside the inner pot, close the cover and your cooking is done.
(Note: Cooking time for different foods may vary)
Outer Pot
1. The outer pot cannot be heated directly.
2. Do not put food or material directly into the outer pot.
3. Avoid sharp pointed tools in contact with outer pot, not to cause the pot from losing its temperature retaining function.
4. Do not immerse the outer pot into water will infilrate into the double wall. This will damage the thermal insulation. Doing this will void your warranty.
Inner Pot
1. The lid of the inner pot may be hot especially during boiling process, use gloves or cloth to avoid being burnt.
2. Do not heat empty inner pot.
3. Do not fill pot to its rim. Fill food up to 80% of whole capacity.
4. However, less food may not achieve a satisfactory temperature retaining effect (as temperature drops quicker).
5. Frequent or repeated lifting of cover or lid would result in dropping of temperature.
6. Medium heat for cooking is recommended, as high heat is not needed due to La gourmet's excellent heat conduction. Do not allow gas flames to extend up the sides of the pot. Excessive heat may damage handles, cause food to stick and tinting of the exterior surface. Stainless steel utensils may cause scratches if used incorrectly. Never leave your pot unattended on a hot burner as this may result in damage to the base. Do not place your pot in the oven, the microwave or under the grill.
Cleaning
Outer pot and cover
1. Wipe clean with damp cloth and dry. DO NOT immerse outer pot into water to avoid damage to thermal insulation.
