My boyfriend put it together by himself in less than a half hour. I love that you only need a screw driver for the flag posts and nothing else. I like that the other "screws" are plastic pieces that won't injure the kids. It has an attractive design and seems like it will hold up for a long time. The doors are a little flimsy and get stuck on the bottom bar sometimes, but it isn't a big deal and my kids don't even notice. The cottage is light weight and easy to move, yet durable and will hold up to weather. The stickers add to the appeal and make it look more real, even having an address on it. We love that there are two doors, one in the front and one in back. My kids don't have to push past each other to get in or out, they can simply use the other door. They also really like opening and closing the shutters. Their favorite feature of the Cape Cottage though is the mail slots. They are constantly sticking "mail" in to each other. Overall, this is a great quality playhouse that I expect to last several years. I strongly recommend it to anyone with young kids.
