The?Novoflex XL-CO?is an adapter that permits the use of lenses from another manufacturer on a specific camera or camcorder. This adapter fits on the Canon XL-1 camcorder and permits usage of M42 lenses. This adapter retains the lens' ability to focus on infinity. The adapter does not transmit any functions between camera and lens but, does allow metering with the diaphragm stopped down or in an aperture priority automatic exposure setting.
