At the end of the work-day I have many aches and pains. I get a massage weekly, the massage therapist suggested I take baths regularly. I have used different bath pillows about 5 times in my life. They have always been a great idea but never truly were as comfortable or easy to maintain as advertised. I especially like the way it wicks the water allowing it to dry quickly. After use I leave the pillow in the empty bath (I bathe at night) the next morning the pillow is dry and can be put away.This pillow is cushion not a plastic blow-up. It is comfortable-one large molded cushion that conforms to my body. I found one draw back which is the suction cups do not hold to the tile wall around my bath (small tiles not a smooth surface). This is not a problem because I put the pillow behind me as I lay back and it condenses as needed where I want it as I lay back. Absolutely a good purchase. So comfortable, so luxurious. Unlike many other bath pillows, it doesn't need to be inflated. Dries quickly as well. My only criticism is that, in the photo, it appears to be blue. I was really hoping for blue. In actuality, it is somewhere between white and off-white. I can deal with it, but it is clearly blue in the photo, and blue would have been the best fit with my bathroom. I understand it is machine washable; I haven't washed it yet, but I have no reason to believe otherwise. I have one for each bath and it is used. I place it in tub and leave it there - the pillow becomes as warm or hot as the water soothing back and neck muscles. Once a week I throw it in the wash to clean.
