Foam pads are made with durable open cell foam, which improves the airflow between the pad and the surface. The 3" pad size reduces polisher chatter, which makes the polishing action smoother.
Pads have a recessed backing with curved plastic reinforced inner edges, which prevents contact between the backing plate and the working surface, so your can buff and polish in tight spaces.
