With the PerfectFIT suspension system, you can dial in the right fit without having to venture into a retail store for help, and it easily adjusts when Junior shoots up a couple inches over the winter. PerfectFIT also includes highly supportive Lightbeam stays, extra lumbar support, a ventilated back panel, and HDPE framesheets at the waist belt and back for the extra support that heavy loads require.
The Red Cloud features a traditional top lid access, with an additional front panel access so layers can easily be reached while on the trail. The top lid converts to a detachable sling pack for smaller side adventures. Kelty integrated a zippered pocket at the top lid for electronics, zippered side pockets for snacks, a large front pocket with organization capabilities for books and layers, and a pocket at the waist belt for energy gels.
