GA7320-43 Guardian Angel child safety window guard expands to childproof windows 73 to 120 inches wide or tall. Guardian Angel window guards are made from strong steel tubing powder coated with durable lead-free paint. Depress two safety release buttons on each side, compress bars and remove from mounts. Three bar window guards protect a window opening from 13 to 17.5 inches. Add units for wider openings or higher openings. Tested to withstand up to 150 pounds of pressure in locked position. First bar locks into mount 2 inches from end of mount. Stack units so no more than 4 inches between units. Limit window openings to no more than 4 inches with window stops if needed. Side posts anchor with 2" sheet metal screws into solid stud or frame mats. Conforms to American Society for Testing and Material standards (ASTM F2090-01A) and recognized by the U.S. Consumer Products and Safety Commission.Conforms to most local fire and building codes for egress type window guards.Meets Massachusetts building codes: 780CMR 3603.14.2.2 and 780 CMR 1010.4.
