Resembling many popular shapes in today's world of surfing, the Hyperlite Automatic is a purebred surf style board designed for those that enjoy speedy, stylish turns behind the boat. Ample volume throughout the nose of the board helps prevent burying the nose during a deep carve or while exiting off the lip of the wave. The swallowtail design gives the board great push and top-end speed while sustaining impressive maneuverability. Machined EVA traction pads help provide a solid connection between the rider's feet and the board. A full carbon dura shell construction gives the Automatic improved performance characteristics while drastically increasing the durability of the board compared to other high-end surfers. The bamboo finish looks awesome but it also serves a purpose. The bamboo base inlay gives the Automatic a livelier feel when snapping turns and airing off the lip. A single concave through the base of the board delivers impressive push, making it easier for novice riders to drop the rope and giving advanced riders quick acceleration. Customize the feel of the board thanks to the four Futures Fin Boxes. Coming standard with two high-performance surf fins and two minis, ride it with all four fins for a more solid feel or ride it as a twin fin for a looser, more playful feel.
