Product Description
The Adam Equipment WBW 18a washdown bench scale has a capacity of 8000 g and an accuracy of 1 g (also called readability), and offers a two-second settling time that allows for increased productivity. The sealed ABS plastic housing is rated to level IP66 against dust and strong jets of water and the stainless steel weighing pan resists corrosion and is easy to clean, for use in applications where washdowns are required, such as food processing plants and agricultural facilities. The scale has an automatic external calibration system and can be operated using AC power or the built-in rechargeable battery, offering full mobility in the field and when a power supply is hard to find, for up to 50 hours. The auto off function can be enabled to power off the scale automatically after periods of inactivity to conserve power.
The digital screen is backlit for easy readability, displays weight in five different units, and provides a capacity tracker for visual reference to prevent the scale from being overloaded. Using the keypad, the scale easily switches into check-weighing mode during which the red, amber, and green LED lights notify the user if the load is under, over, or within the pre-set weight limit. Check weighing limits can be password protected to prevent unauthorized or accidental alteration. Adjustable front and rear nonslip feet provide level measurements and stability, so the scale will not tip under eccentric loads. When used according to manufacturer’s recommendations, this product is covered by a two-year warranty.

Scales or balances are measuring instruments used to determine the mass of an object. Mechanical balances are the simplest type of balance, and use a lever and slide to indicate the measurement.
