The exclusive Northwave Speedplay Adapter Kit allows you to attach the four-hole Speedplay cleat to your existing three-hole Northwave?road shoe. Unlike other bulky adapters, this one puts your Speedplay pedal in closer contact with your?Northwave?shoe sole, reducing the stack height from 3mm to .3mm. This optimizes power transfer by eliminating unnecessary material between the shoe and the pedal. In addition, this flexible, low profile adapter conforms to the curved sole of your road shoe instead of requiring a large flat area to attach the cleat, another material saving. And of course, because it's slimmer, it's going to be lighter than the standard Speedplay adapter. The Northwave Speedplay Adapter Kit is nylon with stainless steel outsole protection plate.
