They're small and sleek, good for bedside tables. After a couple weeks, one went out. I thought it was the bulb, so I replaced it, but it still didn't work. A couple days later, the other did the same thing. Now neither of them work. I have one in the nursery. The low setting is perfect for checking on the little one without any harsh light in the eyes in the middle of the night. The medium setting is perfect to change him by and the brightest setting lights up the whole nursery. I love the style. One word of caution. The paper enclosed with the lamps calls for a 60 watt bulb. We put a 40 watt bulb in the lamp and it made the shade become very hot. Possibly a fire hazard. Color is great and size is perfect on my bedside tables in my spare room. However when setting them up, one of the lamps only worked for maybe 20 minutes. Now won't work at all, I've worked with the electrical and have replaced the bulbs a couple times. So ended up throwing it away. I still have the other and it works perfect.
