The driver is equipped with a large-diameter 50 mm free edge nanofiber driver, which is a key to rich bass reproduction and low distortion sound.
In the method of fixing the outer periphery of the diaphragm used in many headphones to the frame, since the diaphragm operates while always deforming, distortion occurs in the reproduced sound.
Furthermore, as the stroke of the diaphragm becomes smaller as the outer circumference becomes smaller, the volume of extruded air decreases, so we can not get enough feeling of low range.
The free edge driver adopted in the AH - D 7200 has flexible edges on the outer periphery of the diaphragm like the driver of the speaker, so that the entire diaphragm can be moved in parallel without deforming it.
This makes accurate, less distorted sound and massive rich bass playback with respect to the input signal.
Adopting nanofiber which is lightweight, high rigidity, and moderate internal loss in diaphragm material with ideal balance.
We adopted a lightweight CCAW (copper-coated aluminum wire) to enhance the reactivity of the vibration system to the voice coil.
These are driven by a strong magnet exceeding 1 Tesla.
