Minix Neo G4 Android Dual Core Stick

However, if you’re looking for a premium, out-of-the-box, reputable product, you’re in for a treat. The Minix NEO G4 is a USB thumb drive-sized computer with a Rockchip RK3066 dual core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage, and Android 4.1 software. An Android 4.2 update is available for upgrade soon.
Like the UG802 and a number of other Android mini PCs out there, the NEO G4 features HDMI and USB ports for connecting a monitor or TV and a keyboard, mouse, or other peripherals. In other words, you can plug in a display and input device and use it like a cheap, tiny desktop computer.The NEO G4 also features built-in WiFi. There’s a microSD card slot for additional storage.
It comes with premium packaging unlike the MK802 with some plastic box. The underneath of the box unveil all the info you need to know about the NEO G4.
When you open the cover of the box you will see a manual book, the Neo G4 & an IR Remote controller.
Digging deeper into the box you will find 5V Power Adapter, Micro usb cable & a HDMI cable included.
Design
On the right side of Neo G4, it has a power port and you can connect it to a pc for data/storage transfer as well as using as an On-The-Go port with a micro sd slot support up to 32gb and air vent next to it.
On a far end of the stick you will have a USB 2.0 port which is lovely for plugging in your wireless keyboard & other usb devices (Example : Pendrives/External Hard disk)
While on another end, it also has a HDMI female port which is a brilliant idea because not every monitor/tv/display has sufficient space to fit a pocket pc even a size like this. So this enables you to plug in a hdmi cable instead of connecting it to your display. Therefore, making it a hassle free design. Great job MiniX.
