These are yearly disposable cosmetic lenses, however we do advise you change your lens every 3-5 months for hygiene purposes and reasons.

1) You are best advised to consult your doctor before making any purchase of any prescription lenses. Do not adjust the prescription power/degree by your own as this would bring permanent damage to your eyes.

2) You are responsible to minimize the risk of wearing cosmetic lens, please refer to our daily care of handling and weaing lenses guide.

As it is highly recommended that you check with your optometrist before purchasing any prescription lenses, Cutiewinks shop will not be held responsible for if any eye problem occured from wearing these lenses. Here are instructions for wearing, cleaning, and storing contact lenses properly. Please read this guide thoroughly.

Precautions
⊙ Check if packaging is torn or opened
⊙ Check the expiration date. After opening the lens, it is recommended to soak the lens in multi-purpose solution overnight or few hours to neutralize the original sterilize solution and make the lens softer to wear during the first time wearing.
⊙ Before touching contact lenses, always wash and rinse your hands thoroughly
⊙ When handling the lenses use your finger tips, not your finger nails
⊙Check for dirt or damage
⊙ Make sure the lens is not turned inside out
⊙ When lenses are inside out, they may become dislodged or move too much, giving you discomfort.
⊙ Every time contact lenses are removed, they must be cleaned, rinsed, and disinfected before being worn again.
⊙ Be careful not to mix up lenses.
⊙ When a contact lens is dry or folded in half, place it on your palm and drop the sterile solution or multi-purpose solution. Gently rinse it with your index finger. If this does not work, immerse the lens in a lens case filled with saline solution.
⊙ Check that the lens is in the right shape (a bowl-like shape).

Wearing contact lenses

⊙ Wash and rinse your hands properly.
⊙ Hold the lens between your thumb and index finger.
⊙ Place the lens on the index finger of the other hand.
⊙ Check if the lens is inside out.
⊙ Pull up your upper right lid gently with your free hand.
⊙ Open your eyes wide and pull down your lower right lid with the middle finger of your other hand and put your lens on the pupil.
⊙ Release the fingers that were holding the upper and lower eyelids.
⊙ Blink or close the eye until the lens settles into place
⊙ Feel that the lens is centered on the eye and has no problems.

Removing contact lenses

Wash your hands carefully
Open your eyes wide and pull down the lower lid with the middle finger. Remove the contact lens gently with the thumb and middle finger of the other hand.

Daily Care

⊙ Clean every day (If wearing everyday). Use protein remover tablet to remove protein every one-two weeks.
⊙ Clean lenses with multi-purpose solution, rinse with saline solution and soak it in the multi-purpose solution at night .  Do not use tap water or saliva.
⊙ Lens cases are prone to germ growth. The solution in the case must be replaced every day after wearing. If the lens is not been used, the lens case need to be cleansed and the solution need to be changed every three days (recommended period).
⊙ When you feel discomfort while wearing contact lenses, use lubricating eye drops.
    When you want to wear contact lenses for a long period of time without removing  them, consult an eye specialist.

Wearing Schedule

If you are first time contact lens wearer, we recommend you to follow the following wearing schedule:

Note: You may notice a slight blur to the side when first wearing color contact lens. This is normal and is caused by the color in the lens. Vision will improve after a patient undergoes the adaptation period.

Daily wearing time within 8 hours is recommended for health of eyes
