The DUX 240 fountain pen is a lightweight plastic pen from Pakistan with a dark green plastic body, matt stainless steel cap and chrome plated steel pocket clip. The DUX 240 has an unusual flat, tapered hand grip instead of the more common rounded grip which is surprisingly comfortable despite it's radical appearance. It actually seems to fit between your fingers more naturally than the conventional round hand grips.
The nib is an unusual delta shape with a V cross section instead of the normal rounded cross section. The push on cap is a friction fit and is quite snug and the last few mm are very tight making a very good seal which should prevent the pen from drying out. The DUX 240 looks like a typical fountain pen but these little innovations like the delta nib, the flat hand grip and the attention to detail like the snug fitting cap typify Dux's strategy to be a bit different without straying too far from their basic charter to make quality, affordable pens.
DUX pens and stationery are one of the iconic brands in Pakistan and their products are now being exported all over the world. DUX pens are very popular in Pakistan and throughout Asia because of their great value, reliability and durability.
