Shizuoka Railway 1000 series is a commuter type train originally designed while based on the Tokyu Denki 7200 series.
Twelve compo- nents were produced from 1973 to 1985, and even after that it was operated, but there was cooling, one-manege remodeling, skirt installation, etc. and it reached the present.
It is operated by two pairs of Kumoha 1000 form and Kuha 1500 form, and it can be said that it is the most familiar train for Shizuoka citizens.
In recent years "wrapping train" appeared on the whole or part of the car body with corporate advertisements appeared.
It is entertaining the eyes of citizens.
