Extensive scientific studies show that garlic may help keep your heart healthy by maintaining healthy levels of cholesterol in your bloodstream - vital if you want to stay fit and active. Kwai® is the most researched garlic supplement in the world, providing a guaranteed allicin yield of 1800 µg. Each tablet is also coated 60 times to be odour free. Taken daily as part of a healthy diet and lifestyle, it is considered by many to be an essential part of their daily routine.
Garlic (allium sativum) has been valued since ancient Egyptian times. Today, many people still consider it one of nature's most valuable herbs.
The garlic we use is cultivated in China where it has optimum growing conditions and has to meet a variety of strict criteria including minimum hours of sunshine and maximum soil acidity levels. This degree of care ensures that plants are harvested at their absolute peak so they produce the highest yield of allicin - garlic's recognised active ingredient.
After gently drying the garlic to preserve its active allicin content we use state of the art processing methods to extract, purify and measure it. Every Kwai® Garlic tablet contains 300 mg concentrated and standardized dried garlic powder, providing a guaranteed allicin yield of 1800 µg. Absolute accuracy means you can be confident you will get this same dose every time. It is suitable for long-term use.
Cautions~

Frequently Asked Questions
1.How long can Kwai Garlic food supplements be taken for?
There are no restrictions for how long you can take Kwai Garlic tablets.
2. What is allicin?
Garlic cloves contain two important substances - an amino-acid called alliin and an enzyme called alliinase. They are separated from one another in the garlic clove and they do not come into contact until the clove is crushed or cut. When they come together they produce allicin. It is allicin that is believed to be important for helping to maintain a healthy heart.
3. Why take Kwai Garlic rather than fresh garlic?
Kwai Garlic is made from organically grown Chinese garlic cloves, which contain the greatest concentration of allin. The cloves are thickly sliced, then slowly dried, avoiding the use of heat. When garlic is cooked or heated to produce garlic oil, most of the allin is destroyed.
The drying process that Klosterfrau uses gives each tablet a consistently high level of allin, which is converted into allicin in the digestive system.
Every Kwai Garlic tablet contains a concentrated, standardised 300mg of dried garlic powder, yielding 1800µg of allicin. Absolute accuracy means you can be confident you will get this same dose every time.

4. Should I consult a doctor before I start taking Kwai Garlic?
You are advised to consult your doctor if you are taking anticoagulants and / or antihypertensives as Kwai Garlic tablets may affect the way these medicines work.
5. Have any side effects ever been reported?
A few cases of gastrointestinal complaints have been reported. As these were dose-related, it is recommended that Kwai Garlic tablets should not be taken on an empty stomach.
Independant review of Kwai Garlic Tablets
Great product for heart health
My father came back from a routine check up at the doctor's very worried - his cholesterol was high and we have a history of heart disease in the family. The GP wanted him to try changing his diet and lifestyle before offering drugs and one thing she recommended was eating a lot of garlic, which he hates!
I saw Kwai Garlic Tablets in Boots and he has been taking them religiously. When he went back for his next check 3 months later, he was really pleased to be told that his cholesterol and blood pressure were back to normal. When he told his GP he was taking Kwai she was very approving and said this was one of the best ones to take as it is scientifically proven and backed up by lots of research. - Susan Conrad.
2. Goodbye to my high blood .....
My blood pressure reading for the previous 3 months were 158/85, 166//82 and 160/82 and the doctor was considering changing my medication. Decided to try taking Kwai one a day garlic supplement, after one month returned to doc for B/P check and it was 140/80. Is this just a coincidence or is it down to the Kwai? - Bill Smith
3. Great product. Affordable & effective
I think it is down to the Kwai. I called the helpline for more info when my father started taking them and it has been proven in several clinical trials so I think it really does work. - Rose Smith
